Interim report Q3

Schouw & Co. has today released the interim report for the first three quartes of 2009.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Consolidated revenue fell by 17.6% to DKK 2,467 million in the third quarter of 2009.
  • EBIT fell by DKK 27 million to DKK 137 million. The EBIT margin rose from 5.5% to 5.6%.
  • Profit before tax was DKK 59 million, including a DKK 56 million negative value adjustment of Vestas shares.
  • Operating activities generated a cash inflow of DKK 367 million, which is considered to be very satisfactory.
  • BioMar and Fibertex boost their full-year profit forecasts considerably.
  • Hydra-Grene raises its guidance to the top end of the guidance range.
  • Major unresolved challenges for Martin reduce profit guidance even further.
  • Schouw & Co. expects consolidated full-year 2009 revenue of DKK 8.5–9.0 billion and maintains the forecast of profit before tax at the lower end of the previous forecast range of DKK 50–150 million excluding the effects from the holding of Vestas shares and the contribution to profit from Sjøtroll Havbruk.
